As the dust settles on a fantastic event, we are absolutely thrilled to share the exciting news that LifeLab Supplements has been honored with the Manufacturing Excellence Award at this year’s Burnley Business Awards! First and foremost, we extend our deepest gratitude to Emma Morris and Simon for their exceptional efforts in organizing and hosting such a memorable event at the stunning Crow Wood. Their commitment to celebrating the achievements of local businesses and fostering a sense of community spirit is truly commendable.

We would also like to congratulate our fellow competition in the Manufacturing Excellence award for making it to the final both Safran and Veka bring so much to the economy of Burnley.
Blackburn Distributions to LifeLab Supplements and LifeLab Manufacturing.
In 2023 Ben Blackburn managing director started the journey towards this award by spearheading a rebrand of Blackburn Distributions to LifeLab Supplements in 2023 giving the business a whole new brand persona.
With two new websites with entirely new designs LifeLab Supplements were catering to LifeLabsupplements.com and LifeLabmanufacturing.com. Giving us a platform to grow the digital presence of the manufacturing side of the business.
Our Manufacturing Capacity Growth.
We didn’t only invest in the rebranding of business we also grew our manufacturing capabilities. One of our most significant accomplishments is the exponential growth of our manufacturing division. From producing an average of 2.2 million capsules per month in 2023, we’ve surged to an impressive over 5million capsules per month by February 2024 plus, 18% growth in turnover for our manufacturing department significantly increased our output capacity from 25,000 to 92,000 capsules per hour.
